Funeral services were held Saturday morning for Mrs. Frank Hartmann, 57, who died of a heart attack at her home in Schleswig township about noon Wednesday.
The services were conducted from St. Gregory's Catholic church in St. Nazianz by the Rev. Terrence Schmitz. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hartmann, nee Mary Brieger, was born Aug. 26, 1898 in Dasey, N.D., daughter of Frank and the late Amelia Hoffmann Bieger. In 1912 the family moved to a farm north of Kiel.
May 29, 1938, she was married to Frank Hartmann of Schleswig and the couple operated a farm in the township.
