Heinzen, Leona nee Anhalt (March 22, 1909-Nov. 4, 1987 –wife of Louis Heinzen [married Oct. 19, 1932 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton] –daughter of Peter Anhalt and Margaret Schad –house keeper at church rectory –after her husband’s death on May 15, 1939, purchased the house at 210 East Main Street in St. Nazianz and lived there with her three daughters –lived in this house until selling on May 3, 1972 –died in Sheboygan County –died from “uncontrollable intra-abdominal hemorrhage –huge retroperitoneal sarcoma”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 5, Row 3, Lot 25] [marriage record Manitowoc 24-180] [death record Sheboygan 122-323]

Leona Heinzen, 78, of 815 St. Clair Ave., Sheboygan, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon November 4, 1987, at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Saturday at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Sheboygan. The Rev. Donald Elverman will officiate and burial will be in St. Gregory Cemetery, St. Nazianz.
Mrs. Heinzen was born March 26, 1909 at St. Nazianz, Wisconsin, daughter of the the late Peter and Margaret Shad Anhalt. She attended St. Gregory School. She and Louis Heinzen were married at St. Gregory Catholic church, St. Nazianz, October 19, 1932. he preceded h er in death in 1939. Mrs. Heinzen was employed as a Housekeeper for Rev. Cyril Volz, former paster of St. Dominic parish for many years. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish and St. Ann Christian Women Society.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley and Robert Wenzel of Route 2, Brillion, Genrose Heinzen of Green Bay and Corrine and Eugene Revolinsky of Elria, Ohio; five grandchildren, Tim and Tom Wenzel, Tom, Mary and Paul Revolinsky; two great grandchildren and three sisters, Mary Salm of Newton, Anita Anhalt of St. Nazianz and Hilaria Pfeffer of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at St. Dominic Catholic Church, North 21st Street and Geele Ave., Sheboygan, 9:30 am Saturday until the time of the Mass. The Rettke Funeral Home, North 8th Street and Michigan Ave., is assisting the family with arrangements.
