Death here on March 27 of Mrs. Geneveva (sic) Heizmann at age 78 of dropsy.

Heitzmann, Genovefa nee Guenter –Oschwald Sister (Dec. 29, 1823-March 22, 1907 –wife of Virgil Heitzmann –daughter of Bernard Guenter and Ursula Hauser –born Baden –arrived in New York on the boat New York from Havre, France with Fr. Oschwald on Aug. 1, 1854 –traveled with her parents and 3 siblings –from 1875 to 1902 lived in the house at 219 Church Street in St. Nazianz –“a childless couple, have closed themselves off from the community and were seldom seen” –from death notice in Der Nord Westen of Feb. 20, 1908 –they did have a daughter Mary (1869-1871) –died from “kidney disease –dropsy”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 2, Row 9, Lot 10 –no stone] [no county death record]
