Heller, Dr. Bernard J. (Feb. 16, 1908-Oct. 29, 1971 –husband of Mary Hoban [married Feb. 13, 1934 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Osman, Town of Meeme] –son of John Heller and Katherine Mueller –born at Hazel Green, Grant County –dentist, graduate of the Marquette University of Milwaukee, class of 1932 –on May 23, 1939 purchased the house at 106 South Fifth Avenue in St. Nazianz from the previous Village dentist, Dr. Edward Bast –owned this house until his death in 1971 –his widow Mary continued to live here until selling in 1981 –Dr. Heller had his dental office on the second floor of the Mathias Meyer Tavern at 119 South Second Avenue in St. Nazianz –died from “pneumonia bilateral lobar –emphysema”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 5, Row 4, Lot 23] [marriage record Manitowoc 24-595] [death record Manitowoc 70-468]

BERNARD J. HELLER, DR., 63, of St. Nazianz, died Friday noon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.Funeral services will be at 2:45 Monday at Christianson Funeral Home and at
3 p.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Gregory Putzer will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Dr. Heller was born Feb. 16, 1908, at Hazel Green, Wis., son of the late John and Katherine Muller Heller. He was a graduate of Marquette Medical School in 1932 and moved to St. Nazianz to practice dentistry. He married Mary Hoban Feb. 13, 1934, at Osman. Dr. Heller was a member of state and county Dental Associations.
Survivors include his wife, a son, two daughters (Survivors omitted for privacy.),
a brother, Louis of Hazel Grove, four sisters, Mrs. Marie Meyer of Kenosha, Mrs. Isabelle Tigh of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. V.T. Carroll of Kenosha and Mrs. Roy Kramer of San Antonio, Tex., and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.
