Kaiser, Peter (1824-Jan. 27, 1887 –husband of Christina Boznahof –son of Frantz Kaiser [1793- ] and Theresa Lense [1800- ] –born in Altenbeken in the District of Paderborn, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany –farmer –Peter had owned the original log house that was the start of the Northwestern House Saloon at 111 West Main Street in St. Nazianz –on May 24, 1864, he sold this log house to Theodore and Agatha Meyer –on Sept. 18, 1866, Peter purchased the 80-acre farm at 8526 Greendale Road in Section 26, Town of Eaton –he owned this farm until selling on April 16, 1874 to Gerhard Gellings –his wife Christina had died on Feb. 18, 1873 –on Jan. 4, 1877, as a widower, peter purchased the farm at 8815 Greendale Road in Section 36, Town of Eaton –he owned this farm until selling to his son-in-law Wendel Christel and his wife Christina Kaiser on Oct. 22, 1884 –died in the Town of Sullivan, Jefferson County) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 1, Row 8, Lot 25 –no stone –in 2011 the St. Nazianz Area Historical Society placed a marker on this grave] [death record in Jefferson County]
