Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Quitman for Goode Gillespie Dorman II, 40, a former resident of Hattiesburg. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery(Quitman Cemetery) in Quitman. Mr. Dorman died unexpectedly in Tampa, Fla, where he had moved recently. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ikie Bell Martin Dorman; a daughter, Mary Ellen Dorman; a son, G. G. Dorman III, his stepmother, Mrs. G. G. Dorman Sr of Tampa; six sisters and a brother.

(Frances) Thomas of Laurel, were held Sunday afternoon, 3 o'clock, from Walters Funeral Home in Quitman. Burial was in a Quitman cemetery. He died unexpectedly In Tampa, Friday. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Ikie Belle Dorman, and two children, Mary Ellen Dorman and Goode G. Dorman III. all of Quitman; his mother, Mrs. Eva R. Dorman, Tampa; one brother, Joe Ellison Dorman, Tampa, and six sisters, Mrs. Margaret Trice, Mrs. Martha Ann Charlton, Mrs, Bydle McLaughlin and Miss Eva Mae Dorman, all of Tampa; Mrs. Alice Clark, Washington, D. C, and Mrs. Thomas of Laurel.
