MARBLEHEAD - Mrs. Dorothy M. Bartlett, 77, of Marblehead, died Tuesday evening in Lafayette Nursing Home. She was the widow of Edgar I. Bartlett.

Born in Salem, daughter of the late Francis and Bessie (Butler) Stanley, she was a resident of Marblehead for more than 53 years.

Mrs. Bartlett was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Marblehead, and a life member of the Marblehead Chapter OES.

Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. James H. (Marilyn) Quillen and Mrs. F. William (Cynthia) Edwards, both of Marblehead; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Foster of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. Barbara Davis of Marblehead; four grandchildren, Michael J. and Gregory H. Quillen, Scott W. and Carl R. Edwards, all of Marblehead.
