His third marriage of long standing was to Sarah Ada Lowe with two children, Emmett Lowe Crockett and Thomas M. Crockett. He worked as a grocery store salesman for a number of years and was a hotel clerk just prior to his death. Dandridge succumbed at age 68 to pancreatic cancer.
