MENZIES -- Mary Carol Gribble, died February 7, 1995. Born December 24, 1919 in Helena, Montana, 'MC' spent most of her adult life in Southern CA. and Baja CA. She was a dedicated elementary school teacher in La Mesa-Spring Valley. After retirement in 1980, she enjoyed life with her husband Bruce and did a great deal of charity and community work at La Salina, Mexico. She was the center and strength of her family, and will be lovingly remembered as wife to Bruce (Sr.), mother to Bruce (Jr.), and Buzz, sister to Neva June Gribble and Elizabeth Bailey, grandmother to Nora Carol and Sara June Menzies, beloved member of a large extended family and friend to many. MC was a warm caring person who devoted her life to helping others. She will be missed. Memorial Services will be held Saturday February 11, 1995 at 1pm, Cypress View, Chapel Of Prayer, 40th and Imperial, San Diego. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the scholarship fund established by MC for worthy and needy Mexican students: payable to, E. Bruce Menzies Trust Fund, 4454 30th Street, San Diego, CA. 92116.
