KATHARINA DERLER

From Der Nord Westen, 06 Feb. 1908: (From the correspondent in St. Nazianz, 03 Feb.)
Mrs. Adam Derler has been very ill for the past two weeks, and considering
her advanced age of 86, little hope is held for her recovery.

From Der Nord Westen, 27 Feb. 1908: (From the correspondent in St. Nazianz, 25 Feb.)
We have lost another old settler and a fine lady. On the 21st Mrs. Adam Derler
died after a 5-week illness at age 86. Her husband had preceded her in death
several years ago. The couple had 12 children of whom 10 are still living. 7 were
here Monday for the funeral.
