Mrs. Doris Leavens Taft, age 90, of Pearson, passed away Friday, at her residence, following an extended illness.
Survivors include: 5 Daughters: Jo Ann (Jimmy) Brantley of Pearson, Ga. ; Linda Waugh of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, Florence (Bobby) Lashley of Pearson, Ga. ; Carolyn (Robert) Dinkins of Naylor, Ga., and Sharon (Steven) Lang of Pearson, Ga. 5 Sons: W. F. "Dub" Taft of Atlanta, Ga. ; Kenneth (Shannon) Taft of Manor, Ga., Roger (Wanda) Taft; Gary (Angie Taft); and Vance Taft, all of Pearson, Ga.1 Brother: Ronnie (Sheila) Leavens of Elko, Ga.; 17 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, May 19, 2013, at 3:00 P. M., at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating. The Interment will follow in the Mt. Peasant Cemetery.
