Don Alexander Roberts, 71 year old resident of 215 Jackson Street, North Warren, died suddenly at his home at 3:45 a.m. Sunday.He had been under a doctor's care for a heart condition for the past three years and death was attributed to a heart attack.
Mr. Roberts was born in Hydetown PA., on April 25, 1886, and lived in Warren for a number of years before moving to North Warren 13 years ago. He had been employed as a lathe operator at Thomas Flexible Coupling Company for number of years prior to his retirement in 1954. He was a faithful member of the First Free Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Rebecca, and the following children: Mrs. Frances Stiles, Akron O.; Mrs. Leah Carlson New Waterford, O.; Mrs. Ruth Niemi, Arlington, Texas; Glenn Roberts, Warren, R.D. 1; and Elmer Roberts, Russell; four brothers, Roy and Carl, of Warren; Arthur, in Salt Lake City, and Alvin, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; a sister Mrs. Mary Britton, Oil City; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, a number of nieces and nephews. Another son, Harold, preceded him death October 30, 1950. His pastor, the Rev. A.C. Spencer, of the Free Methodist Church, will conduct funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, with interment following in Pine Grove Cemetery at Russell.

The Rev. A.C. Spencer pastor of the First Free Methodist Church, officiated at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday for the funeral of Don Alexander Roberts, 215 Jackson Street, North Warren who died Sunday.
The rites were very largely attended and many beautiful flowers expressed the high regard in which Mr. Roberts was held by all who knew him. Serving as bearers for interment at Pine Grove Cemetery in Russell were Wayne Walters, Donald Mills, Howard Putnam, Milton Braley, Floyd Waite, and Norman Honhart.
