Sister M. Albina Margaret Kopp, 94, of Holy Family convent, Manitowoc, died
Friday morning at Holy Family Convent.
Funeral services will be 8:45 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Convent Chapel,
Manitowoc. The Rev. F.F. Dupont, O. Pream, will officiate and burial will be
in the convent cemetery.
Sister Kopp was born March 20, 1877, at St. Marys, Penn., daughter of the late
Adam and Mary Feiley Kopp. She entered the convent in 1891 and pronounced her
vows in 1897. She taught in many communities in Wisconsin including Brillion,
Maple Grove, Appleton, and at St. Boniface and St. Paul Catholic Schools,
Manitowoc. She also taught in Michigan and Nebraska. She took her first teaching
assignment in Dodgevile in 1895.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Mahoney, of Harbor Springs, Mich.,
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the convent from 2-9 p.m. Sunday. Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, is in charge of the arrangements.
