Norman Cagle, Was Three-War Veteran

Services for Norman F. Cagle, 67, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Capitol View Baptist Church, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park with military honors. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Memorials may be made to the church.
Mr. Cagle died Monday, Sept. 5, 1994. Born in Bennettsville, he was a son of Mattie Hatcher Cagle and the late Marshall L. Cagle. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, Vietnam War and Korean War and the former owner of Hazelwood Exxon Station. He was a master Mason with Fort Jackson Masonic Lodge 374 and a member of the Jamil Temple and Capitol View Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lola M. Cagle; a son, James Cagle of Arvada, Colo.; a daughter, Brenda Cagle of Hopkins; his mother of Rockingham, N.C.; brothers, Marshall Cagle Jr. of Columbia and Willie Cagle of Rockingham; and three grandchildren.
