Mrs. Ada Mildred Adkins Judd, 74, daughter of the late Mr. William Douglas Adkins and Mrs. Celia Marcum Adkins, was born 7 Oct 1901 in Green Co. and departed this life at 3 pm Thurs. 6 May [1976] at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She had made a profession of faith in Christ. She united in marriage to Mr. J.L. (Luke) Judd, Sr. in 1921, and he preceded her in death 18 May 1972. To this union were born 1 son and 2 daughters: J.L. (Buck) Judd, Jr., Elizabethtown, Mrs. Maxine Akin, Campbellsville, and Mrs. Betty Lou Judd, Greensburg. Mrs. Judd is also survived by 2 brothers: John Adkins and Jim Adkins, Greensburg; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at Cowherd band Parrott Funeral Home, Sat. 8 May at 1 pm by Rev. Gilbert Larimore. Burial was in Ladies Chapel Cem. Pallbearers were Bill Lobb, Ed Davis, Danny Judd, Pete White, Elam Perkins, and Tommy Adkins.
