EDGERTON - Mrs. Lloyd Helgestad, 53, Rt. 4, Road 3 E, Edgerton, died yesterday en route to Edgerton by ambulance from Black River Falls where she was taken ill while returning from a visit in Minneapolis, Minn., with relatives. Death was apparently due to a heart attack.
The former Clara Bienash was born Aug. 10, 1916, in Edgerton, the daughter of Fred and Mary Evenson Bienash, and was married Oct. 25, 1947, in Central Lutheran Church by the Rev. J. R. Hestenes. She was a lifelong area resident, a member of Central Lutheran Church and a former employee of Whitewater Electronics.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Carol, a son, Leslie, five grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Kopke, Mrs. Cora Fields and Mrs. Florence Heritage, all of Edgerton; and a brother, Lloyd Bienash, of Monroe.
Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the church with burial in Jenson Cemetery.
