Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruth Boll Artis; four daughters, Mrs. Arabelle Keenan of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Leota Greenwood of Uniontown, Lois and Betty Lou at home; three grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Artis of Uniontown: one Sister, Mrs. Stella Steele of Republic and two brothers - Ivan of McKeesport and Claude Artis of Uniontown.
