Mrs. Albert Wagner, 91, of St. Nazianz, died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital Extended Care, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home and at 11:15 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Cyril Dickrell will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wagner, nee Mary Ann Gries, was born April 20, 1883, in the Town of Meeme, daughter of the late Henry and Mary Herr Gries. She attended Osman school. She was married to Albert Wagner June 14, 1904, at Osman. He preceded
her in death in September, 1970. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Gregory Catholic Church.
Survivors include eight sons, Ted, Rt. 1, Newton, Edwin, of Sheboygan, Herbert, of Rt. 1, Valders, Walter and Francis, of Kiel, Henry of Rt. 1, Kiel, Clarence of Rt. 1. Valders, and John, of Reedsville; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Marie) Bonde, of Milwaukee, two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Lindner and Mrs. Ellis Stiefvater, of Greenwood, 43 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren. A son, a daughter, two brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where a Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
