STEPHEN WAGNER

Stephen Wagner, 51, of Rt. 1, Valders, died Thursday at home of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Monday at Christianson Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, and at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Gregory Putzer S.D.S. Will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wagner was born Jan. 9, 1917, at St. Nazianz, son of Albert and Mary Gries Wagner, and married Rosalia Bushman June 3, 1942, in New Jersey.
He was president of the Adult 4-H Leaders Assn., secretary-treasurer of the Manitowoc County Farm Bureau, and a member of the Holy Name Society. He served in the Army in World War II.

Survivors include the wife; the parents; three sons, Jerome and Stephen Jr. at home, and Andrew in Vietnam;five daughters, Mrs. Greg (Pat) Zimmerman,
Ann, Ellen, Kathryn and Carmen, at home; eight brothers, Ted of Rt. 1 Newton, Herbert and Clarence of Rt. 1, Valders, Edwin of Sheboygan, Francis and Walter
of Kiel, Henry of Rt. 1 Kiel and John of Reedsville; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth Bonde, of Milwaukee, and a grandchild. A sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
