Weber, Philip (Sept. 19, 1829-June 3, 1903 –husband of Maria Anna Wetterer –son of Philip Weber [1803- ] and Katharine Wetterer [1805-1885] –born Hesse Darmstadt, Germany –immigrated to the US in 1849 –farmer –on March 13, 1867, Philip purchased the 80 acres of the W1/2 of the NE1/4 of Section 36, Town of Eaton from Barbara Nilson Fylken –a farmstead was then likely build on the northern 40 acres of these 80, though in the 1870 census for the Town of Eaton, Philip and Maria are shown living in the house at 117 South Third Avenue in St. Nazianz –on Sept. 16, 1876, Philip sold the northern 40 acres of these 80 to Henry Schindler –on Oct. 14, 1876, Philip sold the southern 40 acres of these 80 to George Diem –on Jan. 19, 1875, he purchased the house at 117 South Third Avenue in St. Nazianz –although this is the date on which this lot with house was sold to Philip, he and his wife Maria are shown in the 1870 census for the Town of Eaton living in this house –from the barn on this lot, Philip and his family made a living by making chairs –both Philip and Maria lived here until their deaths in 1903 and 1904) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 1, Row 7, Lot 11 –stone] [no county death record]
