MAYSEL - Mrs. Pearl Davis, 74, of Maysel, Clay County, died Ocotber 20, 1991, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a long illness. She attended Maysel Baptist Church.

Surviving: husband, Jesse Davis; daughters, Chessie Hart of Cumberland, MD, Anna Bell Reed of Charleston, Ruby Sheldon of Cross Lanes, Nina Burdeaux of Lewisburg; sons, Wilmer of Folkson, GA, Bobby of Summersville, Freddie of Ivydale, Richard with the U.S. Army in Crestview, FL, Delbert with the U.S. Marines in Swansboro, NC, Walter with the U.S. Air Force in Skandia, MI, Ross of Grafton; sister, Othel Burdette of Procious; brothers, Herbert Davis of Walton, Lloyd Davis of Shock, Clarence Davis of Charleston, John Davis of Westminster, MD, Burley Ray Davis of Canton, OH, Odbert Davis of Parkersburg, Lawrence Davis of Quick, the Rev. Ralph Davis of Maysel; 25 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, with the Rev. Bobby Sizemore and the Rev. Jim Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, Maysel.
