Ruplinger, Mathias John (April 25, 1838-Sept. 2, 1915 –husband of Maria Anna Nenning [married Dec. 27, 1859 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Hartford, Washington County] –after the death of Maria Anna on July 26, 1880, Mathias re-married to Albina Beidel [married Sept. 26, 1881 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton –this was one day before the marriage of his daughter Mary Ann to John Casper at the same church] –son of Nicholas Ruplinger and his second wife Magdalena Wahlen –born in the Wellington Community near Merzig, Saarland, Prussia –immigrated with his parents to the US in 1848 and settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, later moving to West Bend, Washington County –on Dec. 10, 1874 purchased the 80 acre farm at 8734 Greendale Road in Section 35, Town of Eaton –on Jan. 25, 1906 sold this farm to Wendel Christel and retired to St. Nazianz –on June 1, 1905 purchased the house at 211 Church Street in St. Nazianz –lived here until his death in 1915 –his widow Albina lived here until her death on March 31,1923 –died from “hemorrhage of bowls –heart failure”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 3, Row 2, Lot 22–stone] [first marriage record in Washington County] [second marriage record Manitowoc 5-36] [death record Manitowoc 13-381]
