Mrs. Louisa E. Schaller, 88, of St. Nazianz, died Tuesday morning, October 19, at Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Christianson Deja Funeral Home and 11:15 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Revs. Lester Groeschl and Cyril Dickrell will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Schaller, nee Louisa Heinzen, was born June 19, 1894, in the Town of Eaton, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Hartman Heinzen. She attended St. Gregory School and was married to John Schaller May 15, 1923, at St. Nazianz. She was formerly employed by Salvatorian Seminary, St. Nazianz. She was a member of St. Nazianz Senior Citizens, American Legion Auxiliary Post 477 and St. Gregory Christian Mothers Society.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ervin Schaller of Denver, Col., Lawrence and Jeanette Schaller and Richard and Jane Schaller of St. Nazianz; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Angeline and Al Frankovic of West Allis, Priscilla and Rue Adams of Moultrie, Ga., and Mary Novalk (sic) Novak of Milwaukee; a brother, Albin Heinzen of St. Nazianz, 20 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Her husband, a son, a brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Christianson Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. A parish prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
