Sonner, Clemens (Dec. 21, 1835-Aug. 6, 1872 –husband of Agatha Gremelspacher –born in Baden –immigrated to the US on the boat Bellona departing from the Port of Havre, France, arriving in the Port of New York on July 3, 1868 in company of his wife and three children Wilhelmina [age 9], Victoria [age 6], and Caroline [age 3] –wagon maker –in the 1870 census for the Town of Eaton, Clemens and Agatha are shown living in a communal house in St. Nazianz with their children Wilhelmina [age 11], Victoria [age 8], and Caroline [age 5] –on Dec. 9, 1871, Clemens purchased 60 acres of undeveloped land in the W1/2 of the NE1/4 of Section 29, Town of Liberty from Eustachuis Vetter –Clemens then died on Aug. 6, 1872 and his wife Agatha sold this land back to the Vetters on Nov. 13, 1874 –died Town of Eaton) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Old Section 1, Row 1, Lot 14] [death record Manitowoc 1-131]
