Ambrose Oschwald and created a farmstead in the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 23, Town of Eaton –sold these 40 acres back to Fr. Oschwald on May 7, 1867 –from Dec. 15, 1865 to Nov. 3, 1869 owned the 40 acres of the NE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 22, Town of Eaton –on May 1, 1867 purchased from Martin and Sarah Heywood the 320 acre farm centered at 23215 US Highway 151 in Section 17, Town of Eaton –on May 23, 1871 divided this 320 acre farm into two 160 acre farms –sold the eastern 160 acres of this farm to his son Cyriak Stahl and the western 160 acres of this farm to his son Gregor Stahl) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 1, Row 9, Lot 28 –stone –Joseph was likely first buried in Section 1, Row 8, Lot 22 but was then disinterred and moved next to his wife in Section 1, Row 9, Lot 35] [death record Manitowoc 4-26]
