Mack Baker was born June 24, 1950 and departed this life Tuesday, October 9, 2012 reaching the age of 62. He was the son of the late Spencer and Sara (Gregory) Baker.
He is survived by: his wife, Helen Baker; 5 sons, Adam Baker, Jeff Hancock, Michael Baker, Brent and Kevin Young; 9 grandchildren, Dakota Reed and Aspen Ruth Baker, Walker Hancock, Bethany Poore, Dylan Young, Austin, Dylan, Austin, Haley, McKenzie, Kamryn, and Kalie Young. He is also survived by: 4 brothers, Lee, Kay, Danny, and Cecil Baker; and 1 sister, Carolyn Prince of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Spencer and Sara Baker, he was preceded in death by: his 1st wife, Naomi Ruth Baker; 1 brother, Arnold "Frank" Baker; and 3 sisters, Barbara Faye, Gladys Marie, and Emma Jean Baker.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Morrow and Bro. Darrell Ragan officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
