Friedrich "Fred" Hiller was born in Alexandri, Wolinski, Russia according to his WWI Draft card. He was living at 538 1/2 Homer Street in Milwaukee, WI with his mother and crippled sister. He worked as a Book Binder. IN the 1930 census he reported that both of his parents were born in Germany. His wife was Augusta Naguschewski who was born in Germany during 1892. Augusta's parents were Michal and Marie Naguschewski also born in Germany.

Fred and Augusta had at least two children: Emma Hiller Worachek 1925-2017 and Elsie Hiller Blahnik born 1927.
