DEATH OF SISTER M. SERAPHIM
The many friends and former pupils of Holy Family Institute will be sorely grieved to hear of the untimely death of their kind benefactor and beloved teacher Sr. N. (sic) Seraphim, who after a long and painful illness, borne with Christian resignation, peacefully expired Nov. 1. at Holy Family Convent, Alverno, Wis.
Sr. Seraphim was a member of the Order of St. Francis fifteen years and during this time was a zealous laborer in the cause of education.
She was singularly pure, unselfish and highly gifted character and her noble self sacrificing spirit endeared her to all. As a teacher, her pupils felt the impress of her strong personality and many a one has been kept on the right path by her guiding hand. Her death was the echo of her life. She rests with God and those who for many years were closely associated with her feel that they have sustained an irreparable loss.
