Franke, Sophia (Sr. Alberta) (Feb. 6, 1872-June 1, 1940 –single –daughter of Albert Franke and Sophia Falke –born Sundern, Germany –entered the convent on May 12, 1895 in Rome, Italy and took her first vows on Feb. 8, 1897 –she remained in Rome until coming to the US in 1901 –was a parochial school teacher in many locations from 1901 to 1936 –due to poor health, moved to the St. Mary Convent in St. Nazianz only a few weeks before her death –died from “myocardial failure –nephritis –lateral sclerosis –cerebral embolism”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 2, Row 11, Lot 12 –stone] [death record Manitowoc 33-440]
