Sharon Marie Meyer was the second daughter born to Byron Melvin & Arlene Marion (Sahlbom) Meyer. She was born at the U. S. Navy Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where Byron was stationed with the Navy. Only weighing 1 lb 12 oz, Sharon died the same day of her birth, and was laid to rest in Barrancas National Cemetery. At the time of her death, she was survived by a 22 month old sister, Karen Marie.
