Caitlynn Marie Prukop, age 15,
daughter of John Prukop and Leigh Anne Wiley Prukop, Caitlynn was a sophomore and an A student at Academy High School, Kingsville. She was a member of the varsity volleyball, varsity basketball, and the cross country teams. She was secretary of the Academy FFA Chapter and the Cactus 4-H Club and an active exhibitor in the Junior Livestock Show with steers and swine. She was a member of St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her parents, John Prukop and Leigh Anne Prukop, both of Kingsville; brother, Trevor Wiley Prukop of Kingsville; sister, Lauren O’Neal Prukop of Kingsville; maternal grandparents, Judy and Art Wiley, both of Denton, Texas; and paternal grandparents, Proxey Prukop and the late Philip Prukop of McCook, Texas.
Active pallbearers were Trevor Prukop, Wade Lowry, Philip Prukop, Justin Prukop, Gabriel Resendez, Marcos Martinez, Mathew Lackey, Matthew Hickl and Stetson Posas.
