FERGUSON, Lillian Shumate, 94, of Bozoo, W.Va., passed away Sunday, March 23, 2003, at home. Born October 4, 1908, at Bozoo, she was a daughter of the late John T. and Nora Meadows Shumate. She was a homemaker, former employee of Celanese Corporation, a fifty-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 119 Peterstown, W.Va., and a member of Bozoo Christian Church. Mrs. Ferguson loved quilting and crafted many beautiful quilts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Hobart, Lewis, Emery, Carl and Charley Shumate; four sisters, Laura Shumate, Delilah Connor, Kathleen Masters and Daisy Gaillard.
