Born in Thomasville, NC March 25, 1971 he was the son of Michael Demis, Sr. of Myrtle Beach, SC and Ann Fowler of Seagrove, NC. He was of the Pentecostal-Holiness Faith, had worked for Demis Wallcovering, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing.
He is survived by his father: Michael Demis, Sr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; his mother: Ann Fowler and step-father: Doug Fowler of Seagrove, NC; his wife of 12 years: Debbie Puckett Demis of Denton, NC; two daughters: Megan Demis and Brittany Demis both of Denton, NC; one brother: Hoyt Demis and wife Lori of Archdale, NC; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Tommy and Barbara Puckett of Jolo, WV; one niece: Hannah Demis and one nephew: Luke Demis.
Funeral services for Michael Chris Demis, Jr. will be held Friday, February 13, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Three Forks Church of God at Jolo, WV with Reverend Jesse Estep officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Pruitt Family Cemetery on Snakes Ridge, Jolo, WV.
Active Pallbearers will be Bruce Puckett, Bobby Finley, Kerry Keene, Devon Causey, Jed Conard and Jesse Beavers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Ness and John Hagerman.
