HOLMES Mrs. Estella Cole, of Brainerd, Minnesota, passed away of heart trouble, February 13. She was born in the town of Kent, November 22, 1856, the daughter of Edwin and Catherine Cole. Fifty-four years ago she was united in marriage to Charles E. Cole of New York City and soon after went to Dakota, She has resided in Brainerd several years previous to her death. Her husband died sixteen years ago. In her earlier days she taught in the district schools. Besides other relatives she leaves to mourn her loss a sister, Mrs. Lavina Ballard of Patterson, N.Y., and a brother, Gilbert E. Cole of Stormville, N.Y.
