DAISY A. FAGER
Daisy A. Fager, 75, of 22574 Williams Landing Rd., Sturgis, died Thursday, Dec. 25 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 27, 1905 in Sadalia, MO., a daughter of Fremont and Daisy Brown. She had been a resident of the Sturgis most of her life.
On Feb.5, 1931, she was married to Bert Fager in Elkhart, Ind. He died Sept 9, 1971.
She had been emlpoyed by the Coldwater State School and was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Don (Ruth) Howk, of Sturgis, Mrs. Harold (Loretta) Cornish Sr., of Coldwater, and Mrs. Maurice (Peggy) Wager, of Sturgis; five sons, Calvin Morris, of Coldwater, Lewis Morris, of Jones, Jesse Fager of Colon, Orval Fager of Sturgis and Harley Fager of Sturgis; 29 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Anson Brown, of Sturgis.
Friends and relatives may call at the Rosenberg-Schippper Funeral Home in Sturgis after 1 p.m. Saturday, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Wilbur Milliman of the Gospel Lighthouse officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
