Grandma belong to one of the many Baptist churches. She was a short lady. She was English. Blue eyes. She made my cousin Elaine & myself, Sue, a dress when we were in grade school. She didn't use a sewing machine. She hand stitched with tiny stitches. She also crocheted amd wrote poems. Her poems were in the newspaper there in Shawnee. She worked crossword puzzles. Her parents were James Harmon Duxbury 1828 in Colne, Lancashire, England-7 May 1917 last I found is that he was living with a daughter in Oklahoma, a different county than Addie. He was listed as still married & Adline "Addie" M. Farmin 1 Aug. 1843 New York-last I could find, she was living in Oklahoma with a Mr. Duffy. They weren't married. Grandma was living with them. James & Addie were married in Wisconsin. In 1901 grandma married Richard Hartshorn in Crawford Co., Kansas, USA. P.S. I found Addie buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Pittsburg, Crawford, Kansas, USA.
