Ida Salisbury, Albert and Harriet's second daughter, married Nicholas Janssen, June 20, 1912 in Madison, SD. She was 33 years old. Nicholas and Ida had seven children, six boys and one girl that passed as an infant. Ida was an accomplished photographer.They homesteaded a few miles north of Albert and Harriet E. in Lake County, SD. Janssen family members still live in the original family home. Ida died when her son Bernard was nineteen years old. According to Mabel Salisbury's obituary, Madison Daily Leader, dated 6-22-1934, Ida Salisbury Janssen died around June 1, 1934, from cancer.
