Mrs. Dollie Jenkins Bandy Dies At Age of 80
Dollie Bandy departed this life Sunday evening, 7:30, June 17, 1962, in Land O'Lakes, Florida. The daughter of the late George W. and Mary Sullivan Jenkins, she was born January 2, 1882 in the Long Creek section of Macon county, Tenn. At an early age she united with the Long Creek Baptist church being among the first to be baptized after this church was re-organized. At the present time she is a member of the First Baptist Church of Land O'Lakes, Fla.

On January 2, 1900, she was married to Freely S. Bandy and to this union were born six children: Elmer E. Bandy, Orlando, Fla., Dr. Olie S. Bandy, Dade City, Fla., Eunice F. Bandy, who died in infancy, Gertie B. Moss, Land O'Lakes, Fla., G. Floyd Bandy, Milliard, Fla., and G. Carl Bandy, Northway, Alaska, survivors besides husband and children are fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Georgia Wheeley, Macon county, Tenn., one brother, Sam Jenkins, Hartsville, Tenn., and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church at Land O'Lakes, Wednesday, June 20th, 10 a.m., with Rev. Wesley Haefner, pastor, and Rev. Joe L. Johnson pastor of Forest Hills Baptist church, Tampa, officiating. She was laid to rest in beautiful Woodlawn Memorial park in Orlando, Fla., where two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a daughter-in-law lie in peace. Pall bearers were four grandsons, Hillis, Bobby, Frank and Maynard Bandy and friends, Tommy Law, Land O'Lakes and Duane Nichols, Lake City, Iowa.

Beloved we miss you terribly but we know you are at rest now and are happy. Our loss is Heaven's gain. That Angelic smile you had on your face when you left us Sunday evening is a treasured memory.
