HORTON - Services will be Tuesday at Chaney Morturary here for Milton George, 83, Tyndall, S.D., a former Kansan, who died Saturday in a nursing home at Tyndall.
He was born Jan. 6, 1887 at Linn Creek, Mo., and formerly lived in the Muscotah and Effingham communities before he moved to South Dakota.
Survivors include 3 sons, Lee George, Nortonville, and Henry George and Alvin George, both of Elk Point, S.D.; 3 daughters, Mrs. Juanita Frommer, Valley Falls, Mrs. Elsie Steward, Muscotah, and Mrs. Ruth Jennings, Neligh, Neb.; 2 brothers, Ira George, Horton, and Zeb George, Jay, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Effingham Cemetery.
