He was born Jan. 6, 1887 at Linn Creek, Mo., and formerly lived in the Muscotah and Effingham communities before he moved to South Dakota.
Survivors include 3 sons, Lee George, Nortonville, and Henry George and Alvin George, both of Elk Point, S.D.; 3 daughters, Mrs. Juanita Frommer, Valley Falls, Mrs. Elsie Steward, Muscotah, and Mrs. Ruth Jennings, Neligh, Neb.; 2 brothers, Ira George, Horton, and Zeb George, Jay, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Effingham Cemetery.
