PIERCE
Corle N., Sr. departed this life on April 18, 1998 after a short illness. Bom July 13, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his parents, Corle N. and Ollie Pierce. Long time resident of Oklahoma City throughout his career in the entertainment industry. He was a member of the National Association of Theatre Owners and the Variety Club. He had been an avid follower of the OU sports program since 1945 and also enjoyed the Texas Rangers. He is survived by his wife of 50 years this December, Betty. Also survived by his son, Corle and wife Kathi of Oklahoma City; daughter, Stephanie Steele of Garland, Texas; daughter Sidney and husband Bret Rosengren of Arlington, Texas. A special light in his life were his grandchildren which he was very proud of, Ken J. Pierce, Shanon Woolsey, Amy and Jeremy Steele & Rebecca Rosengren. Last year brought him the addition of another grandchild, Pierce Rosengren and two great grandchildren, Julian Pierce and Hayden Woolsey all of which were very special to him. He is also survived by his sister, Nell Monson of Tulsa; his mother-in-law, Flo Lodge and sister-in-law, Jane Svarvari. Nieces and nephews, Terry and Judy Monson, Jeff and Robin Svarvari. He is also survived by special life-long friends, Gloria Priestley, Bill and Margaret Jeffcoat and Mike and Ava Suchy. "Mousie", we love you " and will miss you always. Memorial services pending.
