and Trixie Nicholson.

Had an older brother, Jack
who was an officer in the Merchant Marines and an older sister
Vivian who was an officer in the WACs in WWII - both Paul and his younger brother joined the Navy. Graduated from Holmes-Liberty High School in Bucyrus and Purdue University, and worked as a draughtsman. His wife Sandra passed away just a month before he did.
