LEO MONTGOMERY

WESTERNPORT ~ Leo Montgomery, 72, a native of Westernport, died Saturday at his home in Baltimore after having been ill since last Christmas.


A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Montgomery, he had been employed by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company before going to Baltimore about 30 years ago. Mr. Montgomery was a painter and had operated a paperhanging business in Baltimore before retiring due to failing health.


Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Kathryn (Welsh) Mongomery; two sons, Harmon and Vernon Montgomery, both of Baltimore; a daughter, Miss Felicitas Montgomery, at home; two sisters, Mrs. John Matthews, Westernport, and Mrs. Pansy Porter, Cumberland; a brother, Vernon Montgomery, California, and six grandchildren.


The body will arrive here today and be taken to the Boal Funeral Home. Interment will take place tomorrow morning in Philos Cemetery.
