Son of James Pleasanton Hankins and Sarah Anna Hopper, husband of Florence Lillian Budd, whom he married on October 5, 1920 in Patchogue, New York, and father of June B. Hankins (married Edward Simicek).

Marriage - Miss Lillian P. Budd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua D. Budd, and Raymond P. Hankins, both of Patchogue, were married last week. They are living with the bride's parents on Jayne avenue.

Obituary - RAYMOND HANKINS, 76, of 21 Marvin Street, Patchogue, died suddenly Monday at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. Born in Silvies, Ore. he had lived in Patchogue more than 50 years and was a retired auto mechanic. He was a Veteran of World War I, a member of the Patchogue Fire Department and a former member of the Patchogue Lodge of Elks and of Patchogue Post 269, American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Florence; a daughter, Mrs. June Simecek, both of Patchogue; three sisters, Mrs. Beryl Hart of San Francisco, Calif. , Mrs. Violet Scribner and Mrs. Laura Legler, both of Oregon, and a brother, Merle of Oregon. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Ruland Funeral Home, the Rev. Harry B. Sherman, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.
