BUNKIE, La. - Mrs. Odelia Bordelon, mother of 16 children and a resident of Bunkie, died at 4 p.m. Saturday in a Baton Rouge hospital. She was 67.

Survivors include nine sons, Leo Bordelon of Cottonport, Roy Bordelon of Evergreen, Noland Bordelon, Ray Bordelon, Dickens Bordelon Jr., all of Bunkie, Barland Bordelon, Harold Bordelon and Raymond Bordelon, all of Baton Rouge, and Gene Bordelon of Gallup, New Mexico; seven daughters, Mrs. Maggie Aymond, Mrs. Reiss Normand, Mrs. Alvin Redmond, Mrs. Danny Aymond and Mrs. Layman Aymond, all of Bunkie, Mrs. Raymond St. Romain and Mrs. Ronald Schon, both of Baton Rouge; four brothers, Ostin Ducote and Otride Ducote, both of Cottonport, Manuel Ducote of New Orleans and August Ducote of Bunkie; and three sisters, Mrs. Rose Mary Ducote and Mrs. Josephine McDonald, both of Cottonport and Mrs. Olivier Mayeaux of Bunkie.

Funeral services were to be held at 10 a.m. today from the St. Anthony Catholic church in Bunkie, under the direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home in Bunkie. Interment followed in the Evergreen Catholic Cemetery.
