Norman lived the good life in Falmouth Heights surrounded by his family and friends. He loved the beach, swimming, sailing, collecting his sea glass and was an avid Patriots fan.
Besides his wife Elaine, Norman is survived by his children; James Ahlquist and his wife Judith of Melbourne Beach, FL, Ronald Ahlquist of Plaistow, NH, Debra Ahlquist of Dover, NH, Kathy Bradley of Berlin, NH, Mary Exline of Dover, NH, Cheryl Noble of Ocala, FL and Barbara Jean Spanier and her husband Rich of Gainsville, FL. He also is survived by his brother Richard Ahlquist of Melbourne Beach, FL, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 10:00 AM to Noon on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason, 475 Main Street, Falmouth Center , Followed by a funeral home service beginning at Noon. The burial will follow at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne.
