From the Book, The Fighting Men of Oklahoma: LTC Miller Miller, son of Mr. & Mrs. W.J. Miller of Sapulpa OK and husband of Dorothy Miller of Henryetta OK, served 17 years in the Army and participated in the Battle of Bataan from Dec. 7, 1941 to April 7, 1942. He was taken prisoner of war by the Japanese, made the Death March and was held at Pow Camp #1 on Luzon. He died Dec. 15, 1944 aboard a Japanese transport while being moved from the Philippines to Japan.
