Almira J. Brelsford Succumbs to Illness
   Mrs. Almira J. Brelsford, 62, of 125 Waller Street, died yesterday morning at 8 in Wyoming Valley Hospital where she was readmitted Wednesday as a medical patient. She previously had been a patient for one month.
   Mrs. Brelsford was the widow of Russell A. Brelsford, local electrical contractor, who died January 21, 1963. She was born in Beaumont, August 31, 1901, daughter of the late Joseph and Adeline Reed Welter. Mrs. Brelsford resided in Williamsport and New Jersey prior to moving to this city 35 years ago. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and its women's societies.
   Surviving are children, Wayne R. and Edward, both at home; Mrs. William E. Nelson, Portsmouth, O., and Mrs. Edward Pappas, Wilkes-Barre; brothers Arthur and Woodrow Welter, both of Allentown; sisters, Mrs. Edward P. Riefenstahl, Norristown; Mrs. Charles Reed and Mrs. Cora Parr, both of Allentown; eight grandchildren.
   Funeral will be held from the Kniffen Funeral Home, 465 South Main Street, Saturday afternoon at 2. Rev. George C. Andrews, Jr., will officiate.
   Friends may call Friday night, 7 to 10.
