Louisa TRAUTWEIN born on the 22nd of November 1862 in Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia was the daughter of Christian TRAUTWEIN and Julianne MUELLER.

Louisa married Joseph "Jas" BADER on the 30th of December 1881 in Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia. This union was blessed with no less than 10 children; Emanuel, Julianna, Benjamin, Lydia, Emilie, Louisa, Reinhold, Bertha, Katherine and Emma.

The BADER Family that then included 4 of their surviving children; Emanuel, Benjamin, Emilie and Louisa, all born in Paris, Bessarabia, immigrated to America on the 30th of April 1894.

"Jas" and family homesteaded in Spring Valley Township, Dickey County, North Dakota area for about the next 32 years. Joseph BADER died in January 1928.

Shortly thereafter Louisa BADER moved to Hilda, Alberta, Canada to be near her eldest son Emanuel BADER. She lived there until her passing on the 6th of August 1932.
