She was born April 30, 1902 in Vigo County to Robert Culbertson and Mary Powers Culbertson. Her huband, Norman Rukes, died May 12, 1979. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Clark and Norma Virostko; eight grandchildren; eight great- grandchilder; and six great-great-granchilder. Services are 11 a.m. today in Cottrell Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Virostko officiating. Burial is in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is 10 until services.
