Mrs. Lewis Hawkins died at the family home in Veteran Friday at 9:30 a.m., aged sixty-eight years. She is survived by three daughters, Alice and Grace at home, and Mrs. L. B. Grimes, of Elmira. The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. and the Rev. Elmer J. Yerden, of the Horseheads Methodist Episcopal church will officiate. Burial will be in the Van Duzer Cemetery.
